P.S. Meet Tay Lavine

I’m Tay Lavine. I was born & raised in Austin, Texas. I’m 24 years old and just figuring out my way in this crazy world.

I graduated from UNT with a degree in digital retail. I worked on the social media team for a small marketing agency in Dallas for one year but I just truly felt the Lord calling me in a different direction.

I’ve always had a strong passion with mentoring and giving advice to younger friends of mine. I’ve seen a lot of hardship myself, such as extreme depression and anxiety. I just want to let the youth know that they are not alone and there is at least one person who understands what they may be going through. I also love fashion, so I was trying to figure out a way to combine it all together.

Boom. I’m going to work on becoming a high school teacher for electives like a business, marketing, and fashion. So I moved back home, with my parents, lol. I’m going to save up money and take it all step by step.

At first, I was really iffy about it all but I’m just really learning to trust the process and have faith.

For my Tay-Day I just want to share my day and things that I like, such as clothing, and certain products that get me through the day.

As I’m the oldest of all the ambassadors, I just want to share that it’s okay to not understand who you are, or to not know your future plans. Life is crazy y’all. I mean look at where we all are right now with the ‘rona. I’m sure it ruined a lot of plans for just about everyone. You never know what’s going to happen and so you just gotta go with the flow of life, and do the things that make you happy.

I want to use my story to help and inspire others. I’m an open book and always down to chat with people who need it.

I’m excited to learn from these other ambassadors as well.
